| Took Akane and Saito long enough to each others' phone numbers and contact info. We also got Saito celebrating an anniversary event for his relatives. Akane as usual felt insecure when she notices Saito contacting Himari. I doubt she'll change much with just one more episode. But yeah in a nutshell, Akane is still being Akane although she warmed up to him compared to the early part of this series. |

I know Himari donโt have any negative intentions but texting Saito like that and bragging about sending lewds to him in front of Akane is crazy. It really feels like a reverse psychology ploy to make Akane realize how much she cares about Saito. Himari has studied psychology so much thereโs no way she doesnโt know what sheโs doing because this is too blatant lol. Still canโt get over how much she reminds me of Kei from YZ! Seeing Shise family was cool, but Saito is so real for ditching them to get home to his darling Akane. I love how heโs got so used to arguing with her on the daily basis he couldnโt imagine life without it. Theyโre already moving like an old married couple lol. I hate that this show is about to end ๐ญ |

And then, Goddamn, Saito, when she is for once in a blue moon being cute and sweet, RUN WITH IT." "We're all drunks tonight! Give it up!" Gramps is an asshole, but I still kinda like him, in an EVil Overlord to Evil Overlord sort of way. Shisei is reactivated as a harem candidate. "It's every gentleman's dream to enjoy a princess and a maid at one." Damn skippy, and Evil Overlords also aspire to that. Oh, and maid Rui activated as a harem candidate. "What an earnest gentleman you are. My heart's trembling with overwhelming respect. You are truly a noble man full of dignity." Very sophisticated burn with skilled use of irony. I like her. Now back to the bit about enjoying a maid and her princess at the same time. I think we will have this maid front and center but that princess will be relegated to exploring her voyeurism. |

| What a virgin....lol Bottled a golden chance to go fight at home. Felt a bit bad for Shiesei. Akane was annoying again but that first scene of chatting bs was kinda cute. And yes 2-3 min Maho screentime is enough satisfying. |

| Shise's maid is harsh but funny, I can see how she can work for Shise and get along with her. Regarding the young girl Saito met years ago, it sounds like it is Akane but he promised Maho to do anything if she gets additional information so I'm curious to see what comes of that. Also it was nice that Akane and Himari got to spend some time together but at this point Himari must know that Akane has feelings for Saito and I think that she is trying to get Akane to admit that, hopefully that happens in the finale. |
| I'm sure Akane is slowly starting to be honest with her feelings and I know someone like her will need time but in the end it will work. And the result is sweeter than usual and more than I expected, omg they are very adorable. I also like Saito's struggle to go home for his wife, it's like nothing can or anything can stop their feelings for each other. Sorry maybe I'm exaggerating but they are very compatible, so I feel sorry for Himari, maybe she tried several times but Saito's heart is still for Akane alone.  |

| You know I may get hate for a take like this but this is unironically a better anime than the other romance airing this season blue box. Sure it aint got the budget of Blue box but its honestly way more interesting and funny with a better selection of characters for the most part. I think Saito and Akane have a very fun and cute dynamic. This show does somewhat suffer from the typical romance tropes but not to a overly extreme level imo. But anyways overall I liked this episode. The moment with Shisei was very cute. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| Until she came over to bake I genuinely thought I had somehow missed an episode after last week's Himari storyline ended with no resolution. Or if it did have one last week I clearly missed it because this episode barely addressed it at all before promptly sweeping things under the rug. Which is certainly...a choice, but I'm not sure why I expected any better in retrospect. Okay, one more to go... |
| The pseudo husband and wife finally exchanging their contacts, and once they do, it opens up Akane's can of worms that she's quite induced into the whole contact thing. Maho's literate existence only serves to progress the plot to identify the girl he met during his young days, though if Maho wasn't the one, it could only instead be Akane, but given the current landscape, it couldn't be her. And Saito getting invited to the Hojo family meeting, it's only natural since he's a part of the family bloodline, though for Akane, she'd not opt to join in on the family matter to celebrate his Gramps's cousin's 70th birthday. But to hear from the same cousin that Saito would potentially marry Shisei, it certainly was a moment for the cousin herself. With Saito gone, Akane has her time to Himari, though keeping up the farce of the pretend couple...slowly reeks into the former's feelings. And try as much as she does to deny that she doesn't need Saito in her life, her feelings start to get contradictory at best, and calls him for assure that he will get back home soon. As such, being the only one at home, who's scared of ghosts, got a shock seeing Saito hanging from the window on the second floor, then him admitting that he also feels uneasy without her. That voice though, is Saito beginning to realize that he may have found the girl he's looking for? |

| The scene before the opening was absolutely amazing!! Akaneโs happiness when she got Saitoโs phone number was truly a beautiful momentโI really loved it. Also, Shisie's disappointment when the grandma said she thought she would marry her brother Saito made me laugh so much! Hahaha. It was a great episode, I really enjoyed it! I really hope Saito realizes that Akane is the same girl he met at the party. I hope he finds out in the next episode or as soon as possible! |

| @LaczPro19 Voice acting wise, I think Akane is better than Yuna. Yuna is just what you would expect from a typical tsundere. But Akane's high pitched but fast way of speaking makes her really cute. Her seiyuu doesn't do this in her other characters this season. |
| i gonna say this, i think they missed the point of the premise completely and made the B-tier first episodes into a D-Tier overall forgettable anime. Akane & Saito = would be enough Chise & Himari = still okay, even though himari feels more like a plot device than an actual character Maho and rest = ruining the anime. esp. maho is just an unnecessary plot device. you already have the prior two, there is no need for another overlap. it completely wasted the potential of this. Also comparing it to other "they hate each other and then fall for each other" S-tier animes, calling this D-Tier is insulting to the better animes. they practically stopped hating each other in episode 1... |

With shows like this I'm more and more left with the feeling that these characters need therapy. I want a rom com one day where a character like Akane actually gets some professional help and that's the secret sauce that would set it apart from other generic romcoms.
