Tribute for Christine Cavanaugh (voice of Dexter and many others).
Dexter's Laboratory was a huge part of my childhood. One of the reason I started to learn english, Cartoon Network was the only non-Hungarian/German channel we had.
So yea. I loved that show, and I loved Dexter.

No…why? Rugrats and Dexter’s Laboratory were huge parts of my childhood and Chuckie was one of my favorite Nick characters because he had great character development where he started off as a scaredy baby but soon learned to conquer his fears. That’s what made him great. And, now that I’m smacked in the face with the news that Christine is no longer with us, I’m just left with no words. How? Why? I just don’t understand. Tommy Pickles said that “A baby’s gotta do what a baby’s gotta do” but when it comes to not crying…it’s just so hard not to in a moment like this!
R.I.P. Christine Cavanaugh, you will be dearly missed and we promise to stay out of your laboratory.

Ah yes, I remeber. Little me, sitting on the couch on a Saturday Morning, watching shows about a weird Chicken, his Cow sister, a butt-naked Devil Guy, a sophisticated Weasel and a stupid Baboon and of course a ginger Boy-Genius and his ballett obsessed Sister, not understanding a single word. Hmm, those were the days.^^
It's a real harsh news to that Christine Cavanaugh died and she was just 51, I remember first hearing her voice as Bunnie Rabbot from Sonic SaAM, Oblina from Aaahh! Real Monsters! and Chuckie from Rugrats before I heard her voice Dexter, this is an awesome tribute to one of the best voice actors of our childhood, may we always remember. RIP Bunnie, Dexter, Chuckie.
I found out a few days ago and was pretty surprised; she was so young!! Really just a huge shock. Cancer is just a scarier and scarier idea every year.
Dexter's lab was my favorite show <33 and I just LOVED Dexter's voice.. it was just so well done and perfect. Really just heartbreaking. I watched way more Dexter's and Rugrats than i probably should have, growing up.

Didi Never learned that pressing certain buttons was not a good idea, and for some reason Dexter had lousy security to keep her ,or anyone and anything else for that matter, from coming in and wrecking things. Where it not for cartoons being nigh indestructible sometimes, these fools would be dead.
Wha......? Aww man... I can't believe that she died... ;-; Dexter attributed to one of my childhood dreams to be a scientist and inventor. Although that dream has long been faded away, but I loved all early Dexter shows. The new ones were alright, just like Johnny Bravo how they introduced new characters and new art style, the new characters in Dexter's Lab weren't the best- but I loved the shows all the same! The best episode by far for me was the one where they went to Japan and had a giant robot / Power Rangers / Kamen Rider parody vs kaiju battle and Dexter's family found out about his secret, and we're cool about it, and he found out Monkey's secret. God bless her, we lost another voice of our generation...
I have a question, did you also watch IZ growing up? IZ is considered a cult classic, and I love the portrayal of irkan technology, how the camera pans over chords in the ground, or veins underground, the feel of the labs, and it's smooth animation style is right up there with dexters laboratory, IZ also had gross out moments and wasn't afraid to push envelopes, unfortunately watching it on youtube isn't optimal, as the biggest fraudulent company in the world blocked half the IZ season 1 episodes
Viacom complains about copyrighted content on youtube, but steals youtube content creators original work at the same time with no permission, I feel all viacom employees should be jailed infinitely to get IZ back, and other cult classics and kids shows restored and claims dropped, it's a selfless act, I assure you.
